Welcome to Part 3 of my Puppet Dance Party guide!
The last guide covered everything in the first visit to the Human Village along with the first Reimu fight. I left off immediately after defeating Reimu, so here we go!
First off, I'm going to assume you are running back to heal. Come back to the route where you fought Reimu after you're done.
First off, on this route you can catch Rika, Rumia, Tokiko, Lily White, and Mystia.
If you continue straight you will see an old man. Below him is an opening that is blocked off at the bottom, so we can't go that way yet. So, just continue straight.
You'll come across a field. Go in there and fight the Farmer (Yuuto) who sends out a level 12 Minoriko. Then continue through the field and up through the grass to pick up a Yin Yang Orb containing Moriya Sinshu. Then head back out of the field, and go up past the couple. Straight ahead of you is the way to the Misty Lake and Scarlet Devil Mansion, but that is not where we need to go yet, so turn left instead.
Fight the Novice Maid (Yuzu) who has a level 12 Ruukoto. Continue across the nearby bridge. Ahead of you is Sekibanki. Talk to her and fight her. She sends out a level 10 Kogasa and level 12 Sekibanki. Now, continue downwards! A Novice Puppeteer (Kazushi) down there will fight you with a level 9 Nazrin and a level 9 Wriggle.
You'll see a woman wearing pink in the middle of some grass a bit further on. She (Youkai Honoka) will fight you with a level 12 Kogasa. Remember that if you need to heal at any point to run back to the Human Village or use one of those Fuji Rice Cookies.
As a quick note, there are multiple different character sprites for trainers who are all considered "Youkai." For ease of reference, ones like Honoka will be "pink Youkai," ones like the next one coming up (Aoba) will be "white Youkai" and there's also some with black hair, and purple dresses, so those will be "purple Youkai". I wish they had different names for the different sprites.
Continuing through the linear route you'll eventually come to a bridge. There's a white Youkai (Aoba) who will challenge you, as well as a Yin Yang Orb containing a Prismatic Candy. You can use the Candy on one of your Puppets to level them up one level if you like, or you can save it. The Youkai who challenges you uses two level 10 Sekibankis.
Continue up the path and fight the Old Man (Yuichiro) who sends out a level 12 Sukuna. Remember that Sukuna has more defense than a lot of other Puppets this level. Continue up past him (right is a dead end). When you at last get to a sign and a fork in the road, head to your left and fight the purple Youkai (Karen). She uses two level 10 Rumias. Now, take the road up (there's nothing down the left path except grass).
Just keep going up until you see Tokiko. Go fight her. She uses a level 10 Mystia and a level 12 Tokiko.
Now continue up until you see Kourindou. Next to it is a Yin Yang Orb containing a Diamond Hairpin, which is an item you can give on of your Puppets to hold and it will increase the power of your Void-type attacks.
The white Youkai outside of Kourindou will heal your Puppets when you talk to her, which is nice. Now, head inside of Kourindou and speak with Rinnosuke. He gives you a package that you need to deliver to Alice in the Forest of Magic. Rinnosuke also sells various held items as well as Seal Thread.
After talking to him, you may now continue to the left of Kourindou.
Now, this part is rather confusing, so I'm going to end this section of the guide here, and make another section devoted to it, so bear with me here.
