PDP Shard of Dreams Guide Part 3: Myouren Temple

Welcome to Part 3!
Part 2 can be found here.

So, first of all, if you remember from the original game, this is very different. Apparently we're not going to Kourindou first, instead we're going to...Myouren Temple? It's actually necessary to go here now instead of it being optional like before.

Oh, and the Puppets that can be captured here are: Yatsuhashi, Kotohime, Benben, Kyouko, and Nue (rare). Raiko can also be caught here, albeit very rarely.

So, to start off, head straight down through the fields. There's a pot hiding near the trees that contains Rosary Beads. Keep heading down. There's a pink-haired Youkai here who will fight you with a level 8 Kokoro. If you head straight through the grass you'll find a Yin Yang Orb containing a Clarity Charm (allows you to recover from Confusion). Head back up and to the right. You'll see another Jizou Statue that you can talk to. It appears to take one healing item, but I suspect that interacting with each one will do something.

Head down past there. You'll see a Yin Yang Orb containing a Rice Dumpling. If you head straight down from here there's a house with a shopkeeper in there (stock up on Seal Thread!). Outside of it is a barrel containing a Moriya Shinshu. Down past there is a Beast Youkai with a level 7 Chen and a level 7 Kagerou. Head straight to the right past her into some fields. There's another barrel here, this one containing a...Wriggle Nightbug? Okay.

Head back up past the house, and then turn right. As you keep going (past the kid with a Raiko next to him), you'll see a bridge. Head across there. Eventually you'll come across two girls and some stairs. Head down the stairs first and fight the girl down there with a level 7 Benben, Yatsuhashi, and Raiko.

Now, head back up, and keep going up past the two girls.

Welcome to Myouren Temple!
No one in the immediate area will fight you so don't worry about that. Head on into the Temple. There's an Akyuu box right in the entrance. You can put your Puppet into the box and immediately take it out to heal them, which is useful so you don't have to run all the way back to the Human Village.

When you're done healing/checking your Puppets, head back out to the Temple's courtyard and to left and up through a gap in the fence to an outbuilding. There's a Yin Yang Orb here containing a Healing Charm (heals status effects).

Now, head out of the outbuilding and go right.  Head up two sets of steps to pick up a Yin Yang Orb containing Myouren Tea. There's two pots to the right of it, and the one on the right contains a Rosary Beads. Now go left and head up the steps to some grassy patches. Here, you can capture Kyouko, Ichirin, Murasa, Nazrin, Shou (rare), and Hijiri (very rare).

When you're done with the grass, head up and enter the Myouren Graveyard.

Begin by heading to the right. There's some grass here that contains Youmu, Yoshika, Kogasa, and Yuyuko (rare), and Mima (very rare, thank you Dustminion)

There's also a Ghost up here who will fight you with a level 9 Youmu. Now head back to the entrance of the graveyard, and go up and to the left. Go straight up the stairs and you'll see a well. If you interact with the well you will encounter a wild Kisume.

Go a little bit down and to the right and you'll see Kogasa. She'll fight you with a level 11 Kyouko and a Kogasa (I forgot to write down the level, sorry). You'll see a Yin Yang Orb just a bit past her, so go up and get that. It contains a Sugilite Hairpin (increases damage of Nether-type moves). A bit below there are three pots. The one in the center contains a Prismatic Candy. Now head up that little path there, to the right.

Here, you have two choices: down the steps or up to fight Yoshika. There is actually nothing down the steps, so that leaves only option two. Yoshika will fight you with three level 10 Yoshikas. Up the steps past her is a pot and some grass. The pot contains Contract Thread. Head on through the grass and down the steps, then enter the cave.

In this cave, you can capture Seiga, Tojiko, and Yoshika.
There is also a Yin Yang Orb containing another Contract Thread.

At the end of a tunnel is a door, which, unlike the original game, actually leads somewhere.

And this is where we'll end Part 3. Part 4 can be found here.
