PDP Shard of Dreams Guide Part 14: Path of Liminality and Sanzu River

Okay! Now that we're out of the mess that is Forest of Magic North, on to more things! Yaaaay.

Okay, so, you need to begin at the entrance to the cave leading to Genbu Ravine (Kappa area) (up from Forest of Magic North). Right before you enter that tunnel, there's a river. Head across that. Ignore the cave near you, and go up instead.

Keep going up until you go up some steps. Then head left. Head up the nearby bridge and you'll see an Inn. The shopkeeper here sells Rosary Beads, Talismans, Skill Cards 90, 98, 99, and 100, Seal Thread, and Contract Thread.

Exit the inn and head back down the bridge. Now head left. This brings you to a screen change. Keep going left. Fight the Ghost with a level 28 Komachi. Up past him is some grass and a bridge. The grass here contains Louise, Mystia, Nitori, Kokoro (uncommon), and Yuuka (rare).

Head across the bridge when you're ready and keep going. Fight the girl with a level 28 Yuuka. Go up past her and cross the water, going down slightly, to the land at the other side. There is a Yin Yang Orb here containing Skill Card 87. Go back to the girl, and then go up and around some ledges to fight a Sunflower Fairy with two level 27 Ringos.

Just past her is the "Path of Liminality" and some ghostly shopkeepers who you can't buy anything from, although the pot next to the right stall contains an Oath Thread. If you sneak around behind the stalls and interact with the back box next to the left stall, you can also get a Chirei Bun.

Anyway, head up past the stalls to get to even more stalls! Head right first. There's a Ghost near the grass that will fight you with a level 28 Komachi. The box to the right of the end stall contains a Myouren Tea. Head behind the stalls. At the next stall over, there's two barrels. The left barrel will let you fight a wild Yuugi.

To the left of that stall is a red stall. The box to the left contains a Prismatic Candy. To the left of the brown-ish stall is a Jizou Statue to make an offering to. Down below that is a girl who will fight you with a level 28 Eiki.

Continue to the left. The left stall here has two pots beside it, and one behind it. Ignore the one behind it, but do interact with the back one to get a Moriya Shinshu. Continue to the left and cross the bridge. Keep going left, and then head down through the archway.

You'll eventually come to a screen change, which brings you to the Sanzu River.

After the steps is a patch of grass where you can capture Komachi, Eiki, Rin, and Mima (rare). I'm not certain about rarities here. I was finding Eikis left and right and hardly any Rins, but I feel like it should have been the opposite, and Kurandal said he saw more Rins than Eikis, so I have no idea. I'm going to say Mima is rare, Komachi is extremely common, and Rin and Eiki are around equal uncommonness.

Anyway, go to left of the stairs. Ignore the first tall rock. Interact with the short gray rock to obtain a Talisman. Keep going and interact with the other tall rock to get another Talisman. Now head back to the steps, and head down. Continue past the ghost. You'll see a dock and a boat, but you can't do anything with those now. So continue down past another patch of grass. Pass more ghosts and head through the grass at the bottom of the area. Head up the stairs. There's a house up here, but it's locked for now. Head to the left instead. Head up and pick up a Yin Yang Orb containing Skill Card 97.

That's really all there is to do in this area for now, so head on back to that Inn from earlier and make your preparations before we ascend Youkai Mountain!
