PDP Shard of Dreams Guide Part 12: Genbu Ravine

Hello, welcome to part 12!

Unlike other parts, we are not heading back to the Human Village right now, but if you'd like to, then feel free to take a detour.

Anyway, exit Scarlet Devil Mansion and go straight ahead to get back to Misty Lake.

Once in Misty Lake, head left around the lake until you reach the bridge. Head left after the bridge to enter an area that was previously blocked to us. A Kappa will stealth-attack you with a level 25 Sunny and a 25 Nitori. Continue to the next area.

Going forward, you'll be attacked by a brown-haired Fairy with a level 25 Nazrin and a level 25 Rumia. Continuing on, you'll see a patch of grass. You can capture Nitori, Wakasagi, Komachi, and Iku (uncommon) here.

Head up past the patch of grass and you'll see Aya fly past, and then she'll stop to talk to you. Keep heading up and eventually you'll have to fight a male Kappa with a level 26 Nitori. Keep going. Eventually you'll find a female Kappa with a level 25 Nitori and a level 25 Wakasagi. Keep going until you see the entrance to a cave. Go on in.

In this cave, you can capture Kisume, Seiga, Hina
Straight ahead is a ladder that you can go down.

Straight ahead, you'll see some steps. You don't have to go up them, but if you do, you can fight a Ghost with a level 26 Komachi. Head to the right around the steps. A Kappa will fight you with a level 24 Wakasagi, level 24 Nitori, and a level 24 Rika. Up and to the left past him is a Yin Yang Orb containing Skill Card 74. Now head right and talk to the Kappa standing near the water, and she'll let you into Genbu Ravine.

Once you've arrived, immediately enter the house in front of you. In here, the female Kappa near the Akyuu Box will heal you, and the male Kappa will sell items. His item list is as follows:

Rosary Beads - 100           Talismans - 200
Fuji Rice Cookie - 300      Rice Dumpling - 500
Chirei Bun - 700               Myouren Tea - 600
Seal Thread - 200             Contract Thread - 600

Exit the house when you're done. Head up and to the left. Cross the nearby bridge and go up the steps to pick up a Yin Yang Orb containing a Telescope. Now head back down and to the right and up. Head up past the fairy blocking a house. When you try to go up the steps you'll be stopped by a fairy, who will fight you with a level 26 Lily. Pass another blocked house, and fight another fairy, this one with a level 26 Wriggle. Cross the bridge. Fight the fairy here that isn't blocking a house. She uses a level 25 Daiyousei and a level 25 Cirno. Keep going down. Fight yet another fairy, this one with a level 24 Wakasagi, level 24 Luna, and a level 24 Hina.

Keep on going. Up the steps is a fairy wearing green who fights you with a level 25 Rumia and a level 25 Sunny. Down past her is a house, and you'll witness the Three Fairies of Light having a meeting, but they'll run off. Enter the nearby house. Nitori will attack you with her level 30 HinaD, level 32 NitoriP, and a level 30 ChiyuriD. After defeating her, she'll give you the Inflatable Raft and send you on your way.

Exit her house and head up, then down the steps. Approach the water, and press Z to access your Inflatable Raft. Head straight down, and turn right. There's an island with a house above you, with two barrels next to it. Interact with the bottom barrel to fight a wild Suika. The upper barrel contains a Sun Fruit Jam. There isn't anything in the house itself, as far as I can tell. Surf straight down from here, and in the bottom left corner is a Yin Yang Orb containing another Sun Fruit Jam.

Directly right from here is another platform with a house on it. The pot in the front of the house contains a Hakurei Shinshu. Inside the house is a Yin Yang Orb containing a Small Bit. Surf up from here to reach the dock near the healing house. Heal here if you need it / stock up.

Now to search the now unblocked houses. The first house up from the healing one has nothing. The next one (top right corner) has a Yin Yang Orb containing Skill Card 22. In the next house, interact with the right side of the lockers in the top left of the room to get a Sun Fruit Jam.

And that's it for items in the houses. Head on back to the healing house and talk to the Kappa on the dock to exit. Once back in the cave, enter the water that is right there, and go down. Exit the water, and continue. Fight the male kappa with a level 25 Rika and a level 25 Iku. Further on, talk to the female kappa to fight her and her level 25 Nitori and level 25 Wakasagi. Just past her is a ladder that you should go up.

In this area, there is nothing up, so go down and pick up the very close-by Yin Yang Orb containing a Chirei Bun. Right down is the exit to the cave. Coincidentally, this takes you right across some water from the entrance to the kappa-entrance cave.
