Now that you're in the Human Village, visit Kosuzu and she'll ask you a Yes/No question. Answer Yes, an it looks like you have to select another answer. I chose the top one, and it showed me a picture of a book. Talk to her again, and there's another new option on the top. Click that one. I figure that must have done something.
Now head on up to visit Akyuu. She'll tell you something. I don't know what. I don't know Japanese.
Finally, go down near the clothing store, but go above it. There's a building next to a well there. Go in there, talk to Keine, and she'll give you Skill Card 85.
Now then, head to the route that led to Kourindou, except don't go the left like you would if you were going to Kourindou. Instead, keep going up. Go left when you can. There's a Jizou Statue up here that you may have already given an offering to. If not, do so.
Use the Woodcutter Doll to get past the skinny trees. Keep going (linear). Eventually you'll come to some grass, where you can catch Orange, Sumireko (uncommon), Rika, Tokiko, and Rinnosuke (rare?).
Continue up, and then left (there is nothing to the right). There's two people who will fight you if you talk to them. The boy uses a level 24 Tokiko and the old man uses a level 24 Wakasagi. Up past them is another patch of grass. Keep going up.
You are now at Misty Lake.
In the grass here you can capture Meiling, Cirno, Daiyousei, Wakisagi, Nue (rare).
Immediately to the right of the entrance is a grass patch and if you go up a bit there's another with a Yin Yang Orb in it, containing a Contract Thread.
Keep going up. There will be two people by the side of the lake on the left. The boy will fight you with a level 24 Kurumi and the girl will use a level 20 Sekibanki, level 20 Daiyousei, and a level 20 Cirno. Keep going up even after you see a place to turn right. Ignore it because we don't have the Superhuman Glove yet.
There's a Ghost up here who will fight you with a level 24 Merlin. Just past him is a grassy patch that goes up. Head on up there. A girl will fight you with a level 24 Nitori. The stump right next to her contains a Gold Dust. Keep moving along until you get to a crossroads. Head up first and pick up a Yin Yang Orb containing a Light Charm (heals Darkness status effect). Head back down, and go right to pick up another Yin Yang Orb, this one containing Skill Card 39.
Now head all the way back to where the Ghost was, and this time, instead of going up, go left. Once you see a bridge, don't cross it yet, instead head up that narrow pathway. It looks like there's nothing there at all, but interact with the tree on the left side to get a Paste of the Fog. Head back down and cross the bridge. The Farmer will fight you with a level 22 Shizuha and a level 22 Minoriko.
Here, you have the choice of going up or down. Go up first. The purple-haired fairy in the grass will fight you with two level 22 Cirnos. Now head down and keep going until you see an old man, who will fight you with two level 22 Wakasagis. Keep moving forward. You will get an opportunity to go up, but don't yet. Remember where this is though because we'll be back in a couple minutes.
Instead, keep going left. Fight the Youkai with two level 22 Louises. Head down and across a bridge. You can't go left here, so keep going down. You'll eventually see Wakasagihime in the pond. When she's close to the edge, you can talk to her and she'll fight you with a level 22 Kagerou, level 22 Sekibanki, and a level 24 Wakasagi. Ignore the fact that you can go down past her, because we'll be back later. Head right. Across the bridge is a Yin Yang Orb containing a Sapphire Hairpin (boosts the power of Water-type attacks). Now head up, fight the Beast Youkai and her two level 22 Chens. Past her is a brown-haired fairy who uses a level 24 Wriggle. And now we're back to the beginning of Misty Lake!
Head back to Wakasagihime and take the path down. Head down and fight a brown-haired fairy with two level 22 Oranges. Even further down is a girl with a level 22 Rumia and a level 22 Mystia. Right near her is a ledge. Don't hop down it. Instead, head back up and return to that spot I told you to remember on the other side of the lake.
