I am currently level 108, still successfully leveling as Holy Priest. I am always very thankful when other people come along and kill the same enemies as me, because doing quests is so slow with my lack of damage. I never die though!
I've died precisely twice. Once was during the Exodar scenario. The other time was a few minutes ago because someone died near me, and all the enemies that were after them decided to go after the defenseless healer who was minding their own business nearby.
Just doing the Stormheim quests now. Did run into a bug with the opening quest, but abandoning it and reattempting it fixed the bug.
Stormheim is giving me serious FFXIV: Heavensward vibes. I don't know. It might be the fact that I just had to rescue Dragoons, but there's more to it than that. Part of the music sounds like the music in...whatever the zone it is that Hraesvelgr lives in. And the dragons. And the fact that there's apparently a world boss in Stormheim named Nidhogg. And the atmosphere feels similar to that zone too.
And yes, I am very well aware that it's because they both draw rather heavily from Norse mythology (including the Nidhogg part). I know my Norse mythology, thank you. It's mostly just the music in Stormheim that feels like Heavensward to me. I'll see if I can find the song I'm thinking of and report back.
Perhaps after I reach 110 I'll go check for the songs? :D
I do want to hit 110 today. I had my sights set on being the third in my guild to 110, but someone got ahead of me overnight. So now I have my sights set on fourth. Little competition right now, so I think fourth is a reasonable goal. Everyone else is at least a good level or so behind me, so if I hurry it up a bit I think I can reach fourth.

I'm going to be so surprised in the morning.
50% certain that when I wake up I'm not going to remember that I just Fantasia'd Yomi into an Elezen.
That'll surprise me in the morning.
To be fair though, Elezen-Yomi is gorgeous. Unlike Dragon-Yomi who only looked good with a few hairstyles, Elezen-Yomi looks good in the majority of hair styles. I'll post a picture tomorrow of the comparison.
I was inspired by some lovely glamours I saw where the glamour-ers were female Elezen, and they were gorgeous. And, also I was really sick of Yomi's horns clipping through her gear. I'm sure my new Elezen ears will also clip through gear, but maybe it'll be lessened since they're more to the side rather than forward.
EDIT: Surprised, no. Really quite sad and disappointed, yes.
I miss my Au Ra :(
Not that my Elezen doesn't look great but...she's just...not Yomi.

Ooh!
I don't know if I just had a good group, or if Scholar actually makes Garuda trivial. Seriously, I swear Sacred Soil + Succor actually just makes her trivial.
That was the easiest and most stress-free Garuda fight I have ever done.

Oh hey, that's interesting
In case anyone was wondering, it's totally possible to solo Dragon Soul normal as a Shadow Priest with fresh-level-100 gear.
This was easier than the Lich King, honestly.
The boss fights up to Spine of Deathwing didn't pose any difficulty at on (especially since Power Word: Shield pretty much eats any damage I would possibly take). Spine is tricky because it has a learning curve and it takes so long, but aside from worrying about falling off, it wasn't too difficult. It was just a matter of getting a rhythm going as to when to move.
In case you're a Shadow Priest trying to attempt this, a little tip:
If you have the Glyph of Reflective Shield do not use Power Word: Shield when you're trying to collect Corrupted Bloods. It kills them before you want them killed. Just saying.
And then the final battle is easy.
So, the question is: "Toyosatomimi, Kingslayer" or "Toyosatomimi, Destroyer's End"?
