GW2 Characters number whatever

The typical "here's my characters again" post, because I just did a couple recustomizations that I am quite fond of! And also just because I love my tiny Sylvari army.
Maybe someday I'll play something besides Sylvari, but I doubt it. The color options are wonderful, and the hair options are so quirky and nice. Someday I want a nice-looking Sylvari with the mushroom hat-hair.

Keiana Xiphium, my Chronomancer, and my only character to have a piece of Ascended equipment (I just bought a Laurel necklace!). I just recustomized her since I was getting sick of the White + Celestial combo, so I put her back to her original green-blue and gave her a pretty blue haircolor with the long vine hair.
Dahlia Strelitzia, my Reaper. Nothing's changed here, except that she's still my only character that's beaten Hearts and Minds, so she's the one doing LS3 right now.
Iris Fay Flora, my Ranger. I really didn't like how she looked before, so I recustomized her again. I accidentally made her look kind of elven, so I decided to just run with it and dyed her clothes to match. I really like that new hairstyle that they just added, but it looked awful with most of the skin tones and hair colors, in my opinion. I really like its glow effect too!
Maybe someday she'll be a Druid...
Cordelia Thyme, my Guardian, who has the honor of being pretty much being leveled purely with whatever Tomes of Knowledge I get. I can't remember the last time I actually played her. I just want a Dragonhunter, but I don't like the base Guardian playstyle...
Lucinda Strelitzia, my Revenant. I was messing with her a bit the other day, but just wasn't feeling like playing her. I didn't have enough money for another recustomization, but if I did have one I would redo her for sure. I like her hair well enough, but her body just seems out of proportion. It doesn't look too bad in this picture, but her head is just too small for the rest of her body. I think it has to do with the hairstyle.
My new Elementalist, Lucia Snapdragon. I could have recustomized her, but I decided that I really liked the way she looked even with default hair and face options. I also opted for no glow on her since it just didn't look right with the tree hair.

I love my FFXIV character so much

I can't help it but take screenshots of her all the time! I think she came out so well! I just wish she looked okay in other hairstyles besides this one, because currently she looks pretty awful in any other ones.

Another character

I just deleted my Elementalist, Lucia Snapdragon, because she seemed a little bland compared to my other characters and I could never find dyes that looked nice with her coloring. Also, it seemed weird to have 3 light armor characters, 2 heavy, and only 1 medium.

Sooo, I made a Thief instead!

And I think she looks really, really, really nice, despite the fact that I don't have a customization kit for her yet. I did splurge and buy $10 worth of gems to buy a new outfit though. It left me with 100 gems leftover, so if I just sell some more stuff in-game I'll have enough to get a customization kit again. Soon, soon!

Although...I'm not sure I if I want one for her. I think she looks nice the way she is. If I get one, it'll probably be to adjust my Revenant since she's kind of wonky looking at the moment (her head seems too small compared to her body?).

Lucia Snapdragon Version 2.0

Also, can we talk about how pretty the Crystal Savant outfit is? Because it's gorgeous. It dyes beautifully with some dyes, although with others it seems a little too light. The back of it is so pretty, and the necklace thing kind of glows along with the shoulder crystals. The back also glows a bit. It's so pretty. Red is gorgeous on it. I also have Keiana using it right now, in white and yellow; it still looks nice, but not nearly as nice as it looks on Lucia here.  I don't like using basically the same color scheme as I do on my Reaper, but I was kind of going for an autumn theme. It's awfully green outside, so I wanted to make an autumn-themed Sylvari.

And I know, I know, I never like Thieves. But I don't know, it's actually pretty fun this time. I think it's because I have stuffed myself into Dagger/Dagger, and I'm instead using Sword/Pistol, which is way more fun. I still find Shortbow really clunky though.

Also, I am making good progress on my Mesmer again. I've been grinding Hero Challenges today, and I think I need 95 more points total (which is a big improvement over earlier today) before I have Chronomancer maxed out.

I'm hoping that once I have my Chronomancer stuff all sorted out that maybe I'll feel better and more confident and could try to do a dungeon for once? I've never done one in GW2 because I've heard bad stories about the community in them, and the party finder is difficult for me to use. I like when games have a proper LFG system where it automatically puts you in random parties. It's easier on my anxiety. I am absolutely dreading using GW2's party finder, where it is far more personal in my opinion. It would be extremely difficult to get myself to use. I am in a guild, so I would ask for help, but I can't get myself to speak up and ask, and whenever I feel like I can, something sabotages me (either they'll log off and I won't get a chance to ask, or I do ask and they either don't see / ignore it or something). I think I'm a decent Mesmer, and I would really like to do content, but I'm just too terrified to with a random group! At least for the first runs. I feel like once I've done even one dungeon I'll feel better, like with FFXIV.

I can't quite figure out what it is about FFXIV that makes me somewhat comfortable with being in a group. I don't know. Usually if someone comes up and talks to me in-game, I'll immediately just log off in panic, but when I'm in a dungeon I can talk to people. I can lead the group, I can answer questions, I can make small talk. I'm wondering if it's because healing has more of a leadership position to it with people heavily relying on you that makes me comfortable? I know that's part of what makes me uncomfortable trying GW2's dungeons. I can't hide behind being the healer. I'm not a very good DPS, and honestly, I should be working on grinding Hero points with my Ranger instead so I can Druid heal. But I don't know, I like Mesmer thematically way more. If sometime in the future they make a healing specialization for Mesmer, I'll play it in a heartbeat.

Sorry, went off on a tangent there. I've just been getting very mopey about playing MMOs by myself all the time. I want to be sociable and actually play the game with people, but I can't get myself to no matter how much I try. I'll be okay though.

GW2 characters!

Time for another update on my GW2 character appearances! I feel like they're overdue. I just think the GW2 character models are gorgeous, and so I like to share mine far more often than I like to share my characters from other games. My GW2 characters are my best looking ones aside from maybe my FFXIV character.

Keiana Xiphium, my Chronomancer.

Dahlia Strelitzia, my Reaper.
Iris Fay Flora, my new boosted Ranger.

Cordelia Thyme, my level 55 Guardian.

Lucia Snapdragon, my level 32 Elementalist.

Lucinda Strelitzia, my level 23 Revenant.

I'm really happy with my decision to use my level 80 boost on my new Ranger. I've had that Timekeeper (is that what it's called?) bow skin for a while now but no characters that use bows, and I like the idea of making her a Druid. I wish the picture of her wasn't a nighttime one, because I love what she looks like during the day more. She's pretty with the hood of her outfit off too, it just doesn't go well with her outfit as much, and doesn't look as good at night. When I catch her in the daytime I'll take a new screenshot.

Not really back at GW2 and not really not either. I'm kind of feeling between games at the moment, and testing the waters of GW2 again. Honestly, I came back to GW2 just to use my 80 boost, and now I'm deciding if I want to stick around for a while or not. I'm also playing WoW very occasionally. I made a gnome with my dad's guild and I've been playing with them a bit every so often, but it's not like that takes up much of my time, and I'm on vacation now (just turned in my final a couple days ago). I will undoubtedly be back to WoW in July or so, or whenever the fire festival is because I always end up being into WoW during that particular festival and it annoys me because I've never done any other in-game festival in WoW besides that one, because my interest in it just doesn't line up at those times. It's when I first started playing in 2008, and I always manage to return during it. Why I never feel like playing during any other festival time, I don't know. Kind of like how I always feel like playing FFXIV around Christmas, and never during the summer or something.

Guild Wars 2 just kind of squeezes in whenever I'm in-between games because it's free, but I tend to gravitate towards it at Halloween.

Current GW2 Characters

I just realized that I haven't posted my GW2 characters recently, and they've changed a lot since the last time I posted them, I think. I've been selling my crafting materials lately, since I don't have much need for Ascended gear at the moment because I can't get myself to enter a Fractal or Dungeon. This means I've had lots of gold and was able to buy lots of Makeover Kits. So yeah.

Keiana Xiphium, my level 80 Mesmer
Dahlia Strelitzia, my level 80 Necromancer
Cordelia Thyme, my level 52-ish Guardian
Lucia Snapdragon, my level 32 Elementalist
Lucinda Strelitzia, my level 20-something Revenant

My last slot isn't filled yet because I can't decide between Ranger, Thief, or Engineer. I don't really like any of the medium-armor classes all that much, but I don't want to do a Warrior either because I want to have at least one medium-armor character.

Pictures of my GW2 characters!

I can't remember if I ever posted pictures of my GW2 characters post-makeover, so I'm doing it (again?)!

First, my main: My Mesmer Keiana Xiphium. Greatsword / Sword + Focus

My Necromancer, Dahlia Strelitzia. Dagger + Focus / Dagger + Warhorn. She's my second highest, at level 44.

Lucia Snapdragon, my level 31 Staff Elementalist

Camellia Orchid, my level 17 Engineer. Not my favorite class, I have to say, but spending real money on a customization has a way of making you keep your characters.

And finally, my level 14 Guardian, Lucinda Strelitzia. Greatsword / Mace + Focus

I caved in and bought Total Makeover Kits in GW2

Just thought I'd share my updated characters. Oddly enough, I did not alter Keiana Xiphium at all because I think she was already perfect. Nothing else looked right for her.

So first off, here's Keiana Xiphium. I used some of the Transmutation Charges I'd been saving up from map completion to change her armor because I was kind of sick of Masquerade armor. It's all Cabalist except for the Seer Mask. And I changed her greatsword to a Glyphic Greatsword too. Didn't change her Staff because I don't care about her Staff.

This is my second highest level, Lucia Snapdragon, who is a level 26 Elementalist.
My level 9 Necromancer, Dahlia Strelitzia.

And my level 2 Guardian, Lucinda Strelitzia.

I figure that spending real money on them will keep me from deleting them.

I don't know what to do with that last slot. I just can't get into Ranger, Thief, Engineer, or Warrior.

I'll make a Revenant when it comes out because I really like the concept of the Ventari's Tablet's supportive abilities, plus heavy armor has always been my favorite armor type in games (even if I naturally gravitate towards lightly armored character classes...), so it seems like it might go well for me.

Happy Heavensward Launch Day!

Whoo!

Okay, I've had early access for the past few days so today's not actually all that special to me, but for many people, it is!

Now, if only I was the right level / progressed enough through the storyline to go to the new content!

I'll just settle for playing as an Au Ra!

Yup, there's what I finally settled with. Kind of. My original character, Cardboard Viking, is a Xaela, but I ended up making this character here (Ayame Miyumi) because I wanted to heal and I'm enjoying this character a lot more as well. Probably going to use White Mage, although I might try Scholar, and I'll definitely do the new healing class when I get up there. :)

Exciting exciting, I say!

GW2 Characters for now

Just some screenshots and build concepts. I don't like to follow builds I find online to the letter because it feels like there is so much room for creativity, and I don't plan on being a serious dungeon-goer anyway.
This is Keiana Xiphium, my level 34 Mesmer. I love her. Using Scepter/Sword and Staff.  I was initially looking at a build of 5/0/2/3/4 because I wanted a focus on Shatters, but as I level I am finding myself not Shattering much at all, and I'm finding that Glamours are my one true love for Mesmer mechanics. So I'll probably rework the build to have a higher focus on support and Glamour-spamming. Glamours = love. She's a Member of the Vigil because I like the Vigil light armor.

This is Seiga Nyan Nyan my Necromancer that I made on a whim when I realized that Seiga Kaku is a Necromancer, but the name Seiga Kaku was already taken, so I have Seiga Nyan Nyan instead. Need to save up for a customization kit so I can make her hair blue because she looks dumb with black hair. Looking at a build of 5/0/0/6/3 and weaponsets of Dagger/Dagger and Axe/Warhorn. I want to focus on condition mitigation and attrition. I don't know if that's a good idea or not. Just toying with the idea because from what I understand, Necros aren't very welcome into dungeon groups anyway, so why not? Besides, I'm sick of Staff Necro because I've played it for too long and I'm really enjoying Axe right now for whatever reason. Planning on having her join the Durmand Priory.

This is Tansy Thyme, my Ranger. I love her. I've never tried the Gourd-hair before, but I love it. Thinking of a build of 6/0/4/0/4 with weaponsets of Long Bow and Sword/Warhorn. Focus on just straight damage, I think. Going to have her join the Order of Whispers because I like the chestpiece.

This is Delphinium Bluebell, my Guardian. I love Torch for Guardians, so I'm going with that. More specifically, Greatsword and Mace/Torch. Thinking of a build of 4/0/4/4/2. Focus on support, I think. I'm going to have her join the Vigil because the heavy armor for Vigil is amazing.

And finally, this is Lhalla, my Elementalist. I really like the Elementalist Glyphs, so I'm focusing on those. Looking at a build of 6/4/0/0/4. Elementalist Talents confuse me immensely. Going to have her join the Durmand Priory.

Busy busy busy

Very busy!

I've been playing WoW again the past couple of days, I gave in and boosted Toyosatomimi up to level 90, because I want to play her in WoD, and I know I won't get there in time otherwise. I really don't want to be stuck doing the content as Theeriyi, since I don't enjoy her so much.
I've been soloing some old raids on Toyosatomimi, and my father has been running me around Timeless Isle to get some gear (Timeless Isle and I don't really get along).

I've also started playing the beta. I'd kind of been holding off on it because the lag was bad. It still is bad, but it's a bit better now. I think Toyosatomimi is level 91 over there right now.

Other than Toyosatomimi and Theeriyi, I've pretty much reset all my characters again. New batch, new batch!

So my characters right now are:

Toyosatomimi: Shadow/Discipline Priest
Theeriyi: Windwalker/Mistweaver Monk
Bunnise: Warlock (going to be Destruction/Demonology)
Decorum: Warrior (going to be Fury/Arms)
Gensokyo: Hunter (going to be Survival/Beast Master)
Whispereith: Druid (going to be Balance/Feral)
Archanique: Rogue (going to be Subtlety/Don't know)
Octofish: Shaman (going to be Elemental/Enhancement)
Toramaru: Mage (going to be Fire/Arcane)
Rowenellia: Death Knight (Frost/Unholy)
Glamaraa: Paladin (going to be Retribution/Holy)

No, I'm not creative with names. Yes, I know three of them are Touhou related.
Also, Whispereith is a rather interesting one that came up on the in-game randomizer, so I kept it.

I'm trying to mess with specs I don't usually do, hence the Fury Warrior and Survival Hunter.
Other ones, I'm sticking with the old ones I know I like (Balance/Subtlety/Fire, etc.)

I can't decide if I like my characters or not

I'm pretty satisfied with the majority of my GW2 characters.

My Necromancer is feeling rather weak at the moment, but that may just be me not being used to her again. I'm enjoying Dagger + Dagger more than Staff though, which disturbs me a bit. I'm having a lot of trouble against enemies around my level and such. Maybe my reaction times in placing down marks is slower? I can't really figure it out.

My Guardian is fun enough. I'm enjoying her quite a bit at the moment. I'm using Sword + Torch, but no other weapon set has clicked with me yet.

My Mesmer is...okay. I don't really know if I like her or not right now. I'm doing Scepter + Sword with a Staff alternate, but I'm not sure if I like Scepter + Sword. I might try Sword + Sword, and mess around on the dummies or something. I like my actual character though, so that's a big plus.

My Warrior is okay, but I don't really have much direction with her. Greatsword with Longbow alternate. Kind of boring.

Then, there's my last slot. I can't think of what to do with it. The only remaining classes are Elementalist, Engineer, Ranger, and Thief. I know I don't really like Ranger and Thief. Ranger because I don't particularly like being forced to use a pet, and Thief because Thief classes have just never clicked with me. Yes, I've tried it. No, I still don't enjoy it.
That leaves Elementalist and Engineer. Elementalist is just not clicking with me for some reason. I can't find a weapon that I really like the skill set for. I want to like it, I really, really do, but I can't find a skill set that I enjoy. It all feels too slow.

So, Engineer? Another weird one for me. Maybe I'll go mess with it a bit on the dummies.

I guess I'm just a little discouraged with my recent failings on my Necromancer, alongside having bad anxiety the past couple of days.

I really, really just want to stick with a class, you know? But I can't find one that clicks with me just right. I thought it was Necromancer. Maybe it's not. I don't really know.

Playing Guild Wars 2 again

I'm back again!

I've pretty much got a whole new set of characters, aside from Lady Elza, my Necromancer, who is still very much around.

I did one of each race this time, and used a name generator to find lore-friendly names and such.

My characters now are:

Lady Elza: Level 34 Sylvari Necromancer (staff/dagger+dagger)
Recalibrator Ioulla: Level 7 Asura Guardian (sword+torch/staff)
Elza The Eternal: Level 6 Norn Mesmer (scepter+sword)
Orchid Viviani: Level 5 Human Warrior (longbow)
Aureliana Fairblade: Level 4 Charr Engineer (pistol+pistol)

Lady Elza is still Lady Elza. Nothing new to see here. Still have this weird, incurable love of Necromancer Staff skills.

I'm really having fun with Recalibrator Ioulla at the moment. Sword + Torch is rather fun, although Staff is so-so. Primarily focusing on Signets, utility-wise, I think. Not so much of a support Guardian, although maybe someday.

Elza The Eternal is going to have a shatter build, because I love shatters. My plan is to try and build clones quickly and then trait into things that add to shatter utility and damage. Secondary weapon...staff, maybe? Or Greatsword? Support Shattering, perhaps?

Orchid Viviani, I don't know what to really do with yet. I'm thinking a supportive banner/shout Warrior. Using a Longbow for now, because I like bows. Secondary weapon, I'm thinking Axe+Warhorn. She's going to be more of my support character.

Aureliana Fairblade is my other support-ish character. I was messing around in the Mists, and fell in love with the Elixer Gun. That, and turrets. So she should be interesting. I wish I liked Charr armor more.

I don't really know what it is about this game that makes me not want to look up "acceptable," "viable" builds. I see so much room for creativity, and I don't want to box myself in to a build I don't like as much. I can never manage to hit max level in most games anyway, so does it matter?

I only play a game for as long as it is enjoyable to me. Once it starts feeling less enjoyable and more like a chore, I don't bother playing anymore. No one's forcing me to play a game against my will, and I can stop any game I'm playing and play a different one. It always confounds me when, say, my boyfriend or my friends are playing a game, and they can so frustrated with it that they start yelling and swearing, but then they keep playing. I would be done. I don't get why you would keep playing when it's not fun anymore.

Maybe I'm just crazy.

My characters!

Here they are! I have four!
And ignore my last post about a new character. She's gone already. Replaced!

Elzabethi, level 15 Elin Berserker on Tempest whatever server.

Jennyan, level 4 Elin Ranger on Tempest whatever server.

Shoutiger, level 4High Elf Warrior on the other PvE server that isn't RP.
Elzabelle, level 2 Aman Slayer on the other PvE server that isn't RP.

I can't get into the caster classes at all. I tried Sorcerer/Mystic/Priest, but I just can't get into it. Melee or archery for me in this game, I guess!

Well, I did it.

I started playing Tera.

I am enjoying it immensely.

These are my two characters on...Tempest Reach, or something like that. I don't know the server names by heart yet.

Cheshire.Smile, level 6 Castanic Ranger.

Elzabethi, level 15 Elin Berserker
I'm actually having a lot of fun with it. My first character I made was a Aman Ranger, and she was super fun. I messed up a bit I think though, so I remade her as a Castanic, although she might be remade again to be Aman again. Or maybe Elin...

As for Elzabethi, I was cycling through all the races because I wanted to make one that looked even slightly like me. Elin was the only one with the right hair color...and I even got the eye color right too!
Couldn't quite pin down my nose though.

Maybe Cheshire.Smile is being remade again to try and match it up better.

You know, she totally is.

So...new WoW characters

Basically just reset my Tanaris characters. I want to start from scratch because I lot of things happened that contributed to me not playing for a while, so starting over seems like a good plan.
The only "original" character I have now is Theeriyi, my level 90 Windwalker Monk. On Tanaris at least. I still have, like, Quintella and my Horde characters on Earthen Ring, and all my actual original characters on Nazgrel.

So now I've got (all at level 1):

Ariadust - Draenei Priest
Octofish - Dwarf Warrior
Decorum - Night Elf Mage
Archanique - Human Warlock
Glamaraa - Draenei Shaman
Pannya - Worgen Druid
Tsumini - Gnome Rogue
Izaria - Draenei Paladin
Shoutiger - Human Hunter
Novelii - Draenei Monk

Didn't want a Death Knight.

My plans are:
Ariadust - Disc/Shadow
Octofish - Arms/Prot?
Decorum - Fire/Arcane
Archanique - Affliction/Destruction? Maybe the other way around?
Glamaraa - Resto/Ele
Pannya - Balance/Resto
Tsumini - Sub/don't know yet
Izaria - Holy/don't know yet
Shoutiger - Marksman/don't know yet
Novelii - Mistweaver/Windwalker

5-Level-Project is going to come back properly. I'll actually document it this time! I know I was getting lazy last time I played.

Updates!

My Necromancer is now level 30! Yay!

I am having zero issues with her besides the usual leveling rut. Despite that, I have yet to feel the urge to delete her. I could not be happier with her appearance, especially since she really rocks Dry Bones armor. I almost don't know if I'm excited or not to switch to racial armor in five more levels! It just doesn't suit her. If I ever get to 80 with her I'm probably going to transfigure (is that the word in this game? I know it isn't transmog) my armor sets to use the Dry Bones skin because it's gorgeous on her if you use deep greens. It matches great with her dark purple skin and hair!

Despite that, the rest of my characters = gone. For the first time I am actually happy with how my character looks, and I would like that to work for the rest of my characters as well. Therefore, I'll keep them at level 5 or so and just contemplate their appearances. If I don't like them, I'll delete them and try again. I'm sure I'll come up with one that I like sooner or later.

My new Iris Sunpetal is a Mesmer, and I'm quite liking her. Like her predecessor, she has bright yellow skin, but I did a skin pattern as well so her hands and feet are white, which is interesting. Her hair is also white. I'm using mint green and banana yellow as the color scheme for her outfit. I messed with the face settings, and she looks quite different and nice.

My new Willow Twigsnap, an Engineer again, is also quite nice. She's a periwinkle color with the usual tree head. I gave her pink eyes instead of black and she has a less tree-like face. Her color scheme is pastel blue and purple.

The rest...eh, not too fond of yet. Mari Snapdragon has been reborn as a red Elementalist, and Dahlia Pebbleroot is now a Guardian, but I'm not feeling their appearances so much. They still need work. And I'm still iffy on having an Elementalist at all, but I can't think of what else to make, so it's the next best thing, basically.

Yes, I should probably be leveling Lady Elza, but I need these distractions from time to time or my interest will wane! It's important!

More characters! Wheee.........

So, after trial and error the last few days, I realized that Elementalist and Thieves are not at all for me. I got them to 10! I think that's a fair amount of time to figure out if I don't enjoy something! Properly trying a Warrior and an Engineer no, so we'll see how that goes.

Here's updated pictures of my characters!

This is my Ranger, Iris Sunpetal. She is level 15, and uses a main Shortbow and alternate Longbow. Her pet is a Fern Hound.

This is my Mesmer, Dahlia Pebbleroot. She  is level 13, and uses a main Scepter + Sword, and an alternate Staff. She is shatter-focused.
This is Lady Elza, my Necromancer. She is level 11. Her main is Staff, and alternate is Scepter + Dagger. She is whatever my usual Necromancer build is...so conditions and Death Shroud, mostly.
This is Mari Snapdragon, my Warrior. She is level 7. She uses a main Greatsword and an alternate Sword + Warhorn.

And this is Willow Twigsnap, my new Engineer. She's only level 2, so I don't know much about her yet. She uses dual-pistols.

Update!

All my characters are now level 10 and have completed the first part of their Personal Stories!

Of course, there have been some amendments to the builds, as expected with use.

Iris Sunpetal, my Ranger is using a Shortbow as her main weapon, her alternate weapon is a Longbow. She is still using her Fern Hound, Lichen. Her healing skill is Heal As One. Utilities are Flame Trap and Signet of the Hunt. Equips are Rawhide Vest, Rawhide Bracers, Rawhide Leggings, Mossy Leather Boots, 2 Turquoise Copper Studs, Garnet Copper Ring, and Hero's Band. Weapons are Avenger's Short Bow, Precise Soft Wood Longbow, and Mighty Speargun. Color scheme is Camel with Antique Gold accents.

Orchid Forsythia, my Necromancer is using a Staff as her main weapon. I haven't picked an alternate weapon yet. Her healing skill is Well of Blood. Utilities are Signet of Spite and Signet of the Locust. Equips are Wraith Masque, Mighty Country Coat, Cloth Gloves, Velvet Hose, Malign Country Boots, Turquoise Copper Stud, Amber Copper Stud, Garnet Copper Ring, and Amber Copper Wings. Weapons are Avenger's Staff and Cracked Harpoon. Color scheme is Ebony with Jalapeno accents.

Dahlia Pebbleroot, my Mesmer is using a Scepter + Sword as her main weapons, her alternate weapon is a Staff. Her healing skill is Ether Feast. Her Utilities are Signet of Inspiration and Decoy. Equips are Phantasm's Mask, Mighty Embroidered Coat of Life, Cloth Gloves, Velvet Hose, Frayed Cloth Shoes, and Hero's Band. Her weapons are Mighty Scepter, Hemlocked Sword, Avenger's Staff, and Mighty Black Earth Trident. Color scheme is Olive Tint with Scenic accents.

Willow Twigsnap, my Thief is using dual-Daggers as her main weapons, her alternate weapons are dual-Pistols. Healing skill is Hide in Shadows. Utilities are Spider Venom and Assassin's Signet. Equips are Mighty Rawhide Mask, Rawhide Vest, Malign Studded Gloves, Midnight Leather Leggings, Leather Boots, and Hero's Band. Weapons are Dull Dagger, Dull Knife, 2 Mighty Pistols, and Mighty Speargun. Color scheme is Ebony with Camel accents.

Mari Snapdragon, my Elementalist is using dual-Daggers. Healing skill is Glyph of Elemental Harmony. Utilities are Storm and Signet of Air. Equips are Stone Eye, Linen Garment, Cloth Gloves, Velvet Hose, Frayed Cloth Shoes, and Hero's Band. Weapons are Dull Dagger, Mighty Dagger, and Mighty Black Earth Trident. Color scheme is Matte with Persephone accents.

Out of all of them, I'd say Willow is actually the best equipped. She seems to be getting all the drops...

This time's goal was to hit level 10 and complete part 1 of Personal Stories. I think this next goal is going to be to meet the Priory, Order, and Vigil. So, whatever level that is.

GW2 Characters!

I've made five characters that I really like the looks of, so I'm going to really really try to keep them this time! I know, empty promises. But I can dream!

So, besides Lady Elza, my lovely level 18 Necromancer, I've got...

Dahlia Pebbleroot, a level 3 Sylvari Mesmer. Currently dual-wielding swords, although I'm not liking it so much. Might do Scepter + Sword instead. For set two I'll probably do either a Greatsword or a Staff. Not sure which. She's a white Sylvari with the kind of rocky hair, and pink eyes. I believe I made her glow blue.

Iris Belladonna, a level 2 Sylvari Elementalist. I've never enjoyed an Elementalist besides occasional forays into WvW, but I'm going to give it a go! I currently have a Scepter + Dagger on her, although if I switch Dahlia to Scepter+Sword, I'll probably switch Iris here to Dagger+Dagger. Not sure which element I'm going to main yet. I've been liking fire, but I know I've enjoyed Lightning in the past. Maybe Earth this time? She's a dark red Sylvari with the mushroom hat and gold eyes. She glows yellow.

Lylibeth, a level 2 Norn Warrior. I'm using a Longbow on her. I would play a Ranger, but I hate pet classes, no matter which game I'm playing. I just don't like them. So Bow-Warrior it is! I'll probably use a Greatsword as her second weapon later.

Willow Twigsnap, a level 2 Sylvari Engineer (I'm really into making Sylvari today). I'm dual-wielding guns on her. Not sure if I'll get much into kits, I'm more feeling like using Turrets or something. But maybe! Who knows! She's a dark purple-blue color with the tree hair (with purple leaves). She glows blue, and has black eyes, so she looks kind of creepy.

I like all my characters right now, aesthetically at least. Except for Lady Elza, at the moment. I love playing her and I love that I got to level 18, but it's just...her clothes She reminds me of Sailor Moon!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you don't really get many armor sets from leveling in GW2, right? That's why I keep getting upgraded versions of the original clothes instead of new things? I'm in love with the Cabalist outfit, but I'm not sure where to get it. I'm assuming it's a crafted set, but I have no clue.

I'm obsessed with my Shaman

So, you know how I started all those new characters the other day? I still have them, although some of the names and races have changed on the level 1-ish characters.

My current character list:

Theeriyi: Level 90 Pandaren Windwalker/Mistweaver Monk
Ariadust: Level 64 Draenei Shadow/Discipline Priest
Glamaraa: Level 14 Draenei Elemental Shaman
Decorum: Level 14 Worgen Feral Druid
Octofish: Level 9 Pandaren Warrior (going to be Arms)
Benezia: Level 6 Draenei Monk (going to be Mistweaver)
Kazuno: Level 5 Draenei Hunter (going to be Marksman)
Pannya: Level 1 Draenei Paladin (going to be Holy)
Minnele: Level 1 Gnome Mage (going to be Fire)
Archanique: Level 1 Warlock (going to be Destruction, probably)
Tsumini: Level 1 Human Rogue (going to be Subtlety)

I am obsessed with my Ele Shaman, although I may switch to Resto at level 15 to heal until I get tired of it/level 30 when I can dual-spec, whichever comes first.

I'm happy with my characters right now. I have two sets of Guild Heirlooms: Cloth, and Agi Leather. Because of this, many of my characters are currently not wearing pants on the selection screen, but whatever. I don't have the Int leather yet, so my Shaman is stuck in Cloth. I'm pretty sure the character with my Agi Leather heirlooms is...my low-level Monk? Maybe? Her or my Hunter...

I'll go back to leveling now!
