If you love your healers there are two pulls you should not do.
1)
You know that group of 2 enemies early on (I think 2nd pull) in Kugane Castle? Yeah, don't pull those to the big robot right nearby. First of all, those 2 hit hard. Second of all, a ton more enemies spawn at that robot. Just...don't. I know the pack of 2 seems underwhelming, but it's much less underwhelming than dying because your healer can't keep up.
2)
The 2nd to last and last pulls of Temple of the Fist. The ones with the coeurls. Don't pull those together. Please. I just had to do that one. I think it's probably possible if your healer never stops healing, but if they happen to mess up and get hit by one of the coeurl's AoE in that mess then you're all dead because they're paralyzed, need to Esuna themselves, and there isn't time for that. And that's assuming you have a White Mage. I'm pretty sure an AST / SCH would be out of MP very quickly there.
Seriously, I can count on one hand the amount of times a group has wiped because I couldn't keep up with the healing on trash pulls. And all of those times have been on those two pulls.
Other iffy pulls that are doable, but not pleasant -
- Pulling the bird enemies to the pack with the dancing bear in Temple of the Fist. That one is doable with some careful healing, but it's not fun.
- Pulling enemies to the pack with the big Skipper enemy before the second boss of Sirensong. Doable. Not fun.
- Pulling any other packs with the bird packs in Bardam's Mettle. Doable. Not fun.
- Pulling enemies to the first pack of robots in Doma Castle. Again, doable. Not fun.
- Pulling multiple packs in Castrum Abania is just a bad idea in general. Everything hits so hard in there. Doesn't help that it never shows up in roulettes, so no one's really familiar with it, I think.

Is The Vault always this bad for healers?
The Vault is torturous to me. I got it this morning as my leveling roulette (I really wish there was a separate roulette for Heavensward dungeons, because I like to queue into leveling roulette to help newbies...).
Oh my goodness is it awful. I can't tell if I'm just not a good healer, or if I'm not getting good groups, or if it's bad luck, or maybe Astrologians are bad in the dungeon? I don't know: all I know is that something always goes horribly wrong every single time I do this one.
Take this morning's run, for example.
Ser Adelphel:
1st Wipe: I get boxed in by the exploding bubbles + I have the ground AoE under me. I die, everyone dies.
2nd Wipe: We were doing absolutely wonderfully, and then the tank gets disconnected.
3rd time, we cleared it.
Ser Grinnaux:
No wipes, but a couple deaths and overall trouble. I remember when I went in here the first time I thought this fight was very easy and rather inconsequential. Not this time. I think it was a combination of not-high-enough DPS and unfortunate tank positioning. We ended up having barely any safe areas left from portals, and the boss was kind of positioned at a weird angle, so personally, I always got knocked back in a direction I wasn't expecting, typically straight into a portal. I think I ended up with like 5 stacks of the debuff by the end? While the first time I did this fight I had none by the end. Lost a DPS twice I think to a similar issue.
Ser Charibert:
1 wipe. Absolutely my fault. My computer decided it wanted to open the chat box instead of move, so I ended up getting hit by a triple combination of the ground AoE, horses, and the chain thing.
Beat it the second time, barely.
First time I did the dungeon we wiped on Ser Charibert about 3 times I think.
As a more positive, I witnessed a miracle yesterday in The Aery. Last night I was doing roulette trying to get to level 57, and I was put in as a fill-in healer for a friendly group in The Aery. They were on Nidhogg, with 18 minutes or so remaining. We wiped a couple times. Mostly due to Sable Price.
Last try, very few minutes remaining. The two DPS die to something or other. I get caught in Sable Price. Only the tank remaining. Tank is on a tiny sliver of HP. I warp back to the start because I knew the tank was about to die. And, nope! Somehow, SOMEHOW the tank managed to kill Nidhogg with only a sliver of HP left. It was a miracle.
As a side note, the more I go into dungeons with Bards, the more I want to play a Bard. Their animations are so nice :x

Well, that's a conundrum
First and least importantly (to the conundrum that is), my family is getting a puppy tomorrow. Wicked exciting. He's all neutered and ready to come home. He's a rescue, so we aren't certain what kind of dog he is exactly, but the rescue center knows he's half Chihuahua; they just aren't sure what the other half is. He's a bit larger than a typical Chihuahua, so that's the interesting thing.
Now, to the conundrum, which I'm posting here because I couldn't find any information that was useful, and I tend to find that typing things out helps me think things through better anyway:
My boyfriend's internet often has problems. He lives in an apartment, so there's lots of other Wifi signals passing through that are likely interfering with his, and such. Works fine when plugged into the modem and all that, it's just his computer and mobile devices that have an issue (even then, some days they work fine, and others they don't).
But here's the conundrum-ey bit. On our 3DS systems the local wireless doesn't work at all when the internet isn't. As far as I knew, local play didn't require internet since we're sitting literally 2 feet away from each other. We get error code 018-0000, which means it couldn't connect to the internet, but I don't understand how it's relevant when we're literally sitting next to each other? He doesn't even have his apartment set up as an internet connection for his DS, so I don't know why his internet would even affect it.
Especially since we can go out to the park or something, where there's no internet, and it'll work fine. And it isn't our systems because they work fine anywhere besides in his apartment. It's fine at my house, the park, friends' houses, etc. Just not his.
It works if his internet is working fine, but if it turns off from whatever is causing the shut-offs then the systems stop working too. What's weirder is that it works fine if the power is out.
We make sure that there's isn't anything else on in his apartment that could be causing any extra interference too. It's just really, really odd.
My smartphone is still able to access to the internet no problem (it is not connected to his wifi either though), and I've been using my phone there for far longer than this issue has been happening, so I would doubt my phone has anything to do with it either (I've also checked and turned off my phone when we're testing the systems, and still nothing).
The only thing I can think of is that perhaps something about his modem itself is interfering with the DS signals, or there's some sort of outside interference (which I highly doubt would be intentional)?
Just throwing it out there, but I don't suppose anyone happens to know why this could be happening?
I also just thought I would put this out here because I read about people having similar issues but there were never any responses to their forum threads.

Ack!
For goodness' sake, if you see a healer with a sprout icon next to their name don't do a speed-run!
That was only the second dungeon I've ever healed and that was not a fun introduction!
People were running off before the dungeon had fully loaded for me / I was able to cancel out of the cutscene, so I had to use Protect while combat had already started, and I didn't have time to notice that Cleric Stance was on for half the dungeon because it was all going too fast!
But yeah, please don't speed-run if you see a newbie. It is very overwhelming! I thought for sure that we were going to wipe at least twice because I couldn't heal the tank fast enough for the damage he was taking and he lost aggro a couple times to the DPS who then proceeded to take a ton of damage too, and it was just very overwhelming to heal because I only have two healing spells and it's only my second dungeon.

Oh...
So, I was playing Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 2: Sisters Generation, and let's just get it straight here that I knew very little about the plot of the game before going into it. I played Re;Birth 1, so I was familiar with the CPUs and CPU Candidates, and that's about it. Oh, and I knew this one was primarily about the CPU Candidates.
And silly me, looking up an ending guide (it was a non-spoilers one), and I read a recommendation that you do the "Conquest" ending first so you can get a good weapon. And, being that it was a spoiler-free ending guide, I innocently met all the requirements.
Nope nope nope nope. That was not expected by me at all.
I won't spoil what happens just in case someone else wants to go through it blind (story-wise at least). But I really was not expecting that. At all.
But hey, I beat the game...
Completely irrelevant but I am really bored today. Would anyone be interested if I made another separate blog and compiled a big list of roleplay spots in WoW? Just as something to do when I'm bored? I'm thinking at the most basic level I could do a little post about each Inn and just some basic information for roleplayers for it, like where it is, how many chairs there are, how many rooms there are, etc. Kind of like a list of venues for events and such. I don't know, it's just an idea that popped into my head.
I think I'm going to do it, actually. I don't care if anyone reads it, but I want to do it just for fun :)
EDIT: It's happening: http://innsofwow.blogspot.com/
